ERASE FILES

The ERASE command deletes specified files.

C> erase a:myfile.txt Erases the file MYFILE.TXT from the diskette in the A drive.

If you aren’t careful, you may delete a file that you or someone else needs. Unless you have saved a backup of that file, the erased file is gone.
